Bill Richardson Transport World is the largest private collection of its type in the world. Designed to have something for everyone and, not just for vehicle enthusiasts, Transport World proves popular with guests from all walks of life. Housed in over 15,000sqm of exquisite ‘sheds’ are over 300 vehicles including retro Kombi’s, Henry Ford Letter Cars, Model T’s, stunning 1930’s V8’s and over 200 vintage petrol pumps. Outside of our extensive vehicle range we house a growing wearable arts collection, movie theatre, children’s play zones and themed bathrooms fast becoming as famous as our vehicles. The scale of the collection is sure to impress so allow plenty of time. If tasting the flavours of the south is more your thing, head to our onsite café The Grille to experience famous Southern delicacies like Stewart Island Salmon, Blue Cod, seasonal Bluff Oysters and Southland lamb. A truly delicious stop popular with locals and visitors alike.

Classic Motorcycle Mecca

Widely regarded to be a world class display, Classic Motorcycle Mecca is a truly magnificent collection. Find solo, sidecar and even three wheeled automobiles and machinery from 1902 onwards. Over 60 manufacturers are represented (with some really astounding restorations) including a 1902 Peugeot motorcycle to a 21st Century Simms Corbin Custom. Classic Motorcycle Mecca includes brands such as AJS, Ariel, BMW, Brough Superior, Harley Davidson, Henderson and Indian as well as little known brands such as the Schwinn and Zundapp. Highlights include the largest Brough Superior collection in the Southern Hemisphere and three out of four publically displayed John Britten motorbikes. Meccaspresso café is located onsite and serves fresh, delicious food on a daily basis.

Dig This Invercargill

Dig This is Invercargill’s ground breaking new attraction. A first for New Zealand, guests can now live out their wildest fantasies and operate heavy machinery in a giant gravel pit themselves. Don’t worry if you haven’t driven heavy machinery before, the experienced and professional team at Dig This will show you how. You don’t even need a driver’s license! Quirky and crazy in a good way, Dig This has nine ridiculously fun options to choose from. Expect activities for the young, the young at heart and groups
