GS1 or GS2 Auckland City Tour

This half day morning or afternoon tour goes around the central city, experiencing many of its best and most scenic sights.

Travel through the city centre and over the Auckland Harbour Bridge, enjoying views of the Hauraki Gulf and city skyline.  Visit the Viaduct Harbour and revitalised waterfront precinct,  the University of Auckland and the Auckland Domain.. Developed around an extinct volcano, it features tropical gardens, duck ponds and public art, and is also home to the Auckland War Memorial Museum.

Continue through the boutique shopping area of Parnell Village and along the scenic waterfront route of Tamaki Drive to Michael Joseph Savage Memorial Park with its formal gardens and tranquil atmosphere, offering stunning views over the picturesque Eastern Bays, Auckland city and the Waitemata Harbour.

Sky Tower - The tallest man-made structure in New Zealand at 328 metres high. Prepare for breathtaking 360 degree views from the observation deck of this Auckland landmark. On a clear day it is possible to see as far as 80 kilometres in all directions – it's the perfect way to get to know the city of Auckland and its surroundings.

Harbour Cruise - Board a boat tour of the Waitemata Habour. As the boat sails the crew will provide a knowledgeable commentary about the city and its landmarks. A brief stopover is included at one of Auckland's distinctive landmarks, volcanic Rangitoto Island.

Museum & Cultural Performance - The Auckland Domain, the city's oldest park and is situated on a 62,000 year old volcano.  Overlooking the Domain is the Auckland War Memorial Museum.  Enjoy a Maori cultural performance including traditional songs, dances and haka then explore the Museum's collections and exhibitions.

GS9NW Bay of Islands Day Tour with Hole in the Rock Dolphin Cruise

Travel to the Bay of Islands, a stunning marine playground, and cruise its sheltered waters in search of dolphins, whales and other sea life.

Starting in Auckland, sit back, relax and enjoy the informative commentary across the Harbour Bridge, and soak up New Zealand's spectacular scenery of rural countryside and sub-tropical bush en route to the beautiful Bay of Islands.

After arriving in Paihia, board the Dolphin Seeker, a purpose built catamaran licensed for dolphin and whale viewing. Enjoy the large outdoor viewing decks while cruising past the islands of the Bay. Keep a look out for common and bottlenose dolphins, whales and other marine life as the experienced local skippers get close to the action.

Cruise past the Cape Brett Lighthouse, before arriving at the majestic Hole in the Rock. Admire the rock walls towering above you as the skipper navigates right through the narrow space (conditions permitting) before heading back into the inner islands of the Bay.

GS10AN Waitomo Caves Day Tour

Explore an underground world of twinkling glowworms and soaring caverns.

Leaving Auckland in the morning, travel through rolling farmland into the Waikato to Waitomo for a 45-minute guided tour through the Glowworm Caves. Wander through subterranean caverns and learn about stalagmites, stalactites, helictites and other spectacular rock formations formed from limestone over 30 million years ago.. Finish off the tour on a short but enchanting boat ride travelling through the Glowworm Grotto, where thousands of glowworms light up the darkness like tiny stars.

Once the Waitomo experience draws to a close, board the coach for the return trip to Auckland, arriving in the afternoon.

GS16HW Waitomo Caves & Hobbiton Movie Set

See the magical Waitomo Caves and the Hobbiton Movie Set on a full-day sightseeing tour from Auckland. Step on board  and travel south, taking in typical New Zealand scenery - lush green farmland and rolling hills.

The Hobbiton Movie Set has become one of New Zealand's must-see destinations. A working farm was transformed into a film set for the world-famous Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit movie.  Visit the set and see where the magic was created.

The next stop is at the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, a network of underground tunnels and caves made from incredible limestone formations. GS16AL Waitomo & Rotorua Sights Tour

Experience magical glowworms and world-famous limestone formations at Waitomo Caves, as well as the rich cultural heritage and geothermal bounty of Rotorua.

Leaving Auckland in the morning, and travel through the lush farmland of the Waikato to Waitomo for a a 45-minute guided tour through the world famous Waitomo Glowworm Caves with their amazing stalactites, stalagmites, towering caverns and other rock formations. The tour finishes with a short but magical boat ride through the Glowworm Grotto – an underground cavern illuminated by the twinkling lights of thousands of tiny glowworms.

Visit the Agrodome on the outskirts of Rotorua and take a tour of an organic working farm in all terrain vehicles. Get an insight into farming life in New Zealand as you see sheep-shearers in action and view a live sheep dog trial.The tour then makes its way to Te Puia for a traditional welcome and Maori cultural performance. Visit Te Puia's woodcarving and weaving schools, where apprentices are trained in these traditional skills by master carvers and weavers.  Next, venture into a landscape unlike any other with a guided tour of the bubbling mudpools and active geysers of the Whakarewarewa Thermal Valley.
